Celebrating Farmers’ Day (Kisan Divas) – A Tribute to the Backbone of Our Nation

On December 23rd, Gurajada School, Vizianagaram, proudly observed National Farmers’ Day with great enthusiasm and respect. Our students, along with teachers, stepped into the fields to understand and honor the tireless efforts of farmers, the true heroes of our country. The event aimed to instill in students the importance of agriculture and the critical role farmers play in feeding the nation. Through interactive sessions, activities in the fields, and discussions on sustainable farming, our students experienced firsthand the challenges and contributions of the farming community. Holding a special banner and dressed in school uniforms, the students expressed their gratitude and support for Indian farmers. It was not just a celebration, but a day of learning, respect, and reflection.
At Gurajada School, we believe in holistic education—one that not only nurtures academic excellence but also builds empathy, awareness, and a sense of responsibility among young minds.
Let us always remember and honor our farmers, for they sow the seeds that sustain our lives.
