About Us
Gurajada School in Vizianagaram provides a solid educational foundation from Kindergarten to the & nbsp; Primary level. We prioritise developing young minds through play-based learning, participatory teaching, and value-based education. Our child-friendly classrooms, competent teachers, and nurturing environment make early learning enjoyable and effective. With a combination of academics, creativity, and life skills, we ensure that each kid grows confident and curious.
Our Journey
One evening in January 1998, I, Dr. MVN Venkatarao (my friend), and MRC Prasad (my brother) happened to pass by this beautiful building, which led to our first thoughts for the establishment of a school. We also decided to get an ideal name, i.e., the name of an idealistic person from Vizianagaram, and that’s how we named it GURAJADA.
As soon as we got the idea, we went to Uma Shankar’s (my friend), where the owner of this building was residing at that time. After their acceptance, Me & MVN Venkatarao contacted all our friends and family in our vicinity regarding our idea. We took the ideas of being an idealistic school from everyone.
We requested late Sri Pusapati Venkatapathi Raju Garu and his wife Sanyasamma Garu to be the chief advisors of our school. And their acceptance gave us much more strength.
After 6 months of our survey and hardship, we finally opened our school on 9th June, 1998 by the Revenue Minister Sri Ashok Ganapathi Raju garu. On that very day, the then SP Sri M. Jayaram Reddy garu gave a wonderful message that gave us a direction to maintain the standards of the school.
We always aspired to mould our children’s beliefs in a scientific way to the new modern ethical society and inculcate the moral values such as Respect, Discipline, Patriotism, which we always believed in.
We have completed an M.Sc., M.Phil., PG diploma in Guidance and Counseling along with a doctorate in Psychology, throughout the 10 years of study in Venkateswara University. We have learned many things related to behavior, child psychology, teaching techniques, dealing with slow learners, etc.
Year by year, we had our ups and downs. But all we did was never give up. We, the entire Gurajada family, stood by each other even in the most tough times, like Hudhud, Covid, etc.
